Weather Station
The Ladd Observatory will soon be installing a weather station which will provide up to the minute information about the current weather conditions and an archive of the weather history for Providence.
Here is a sample graph from the weather station barometer that shows the atmospheric pressure during the past week. High air pressure indicates fair weather while low pressure indicates that storms are more likely. This graph is updated every 30 minutes. The weather station will also report on the current temperature, humidity, wind, rain, and the UV index.
This webpage will display the weather information after the station is installed on the roof of the Observatory.
The tables below show the current readings from the barometer, plus information about the Sun and Moon. The information is updated every minute.
