Graduate Admissions

Application for Graduate Admission

The Department of Politcal Science offers a combined A.M. / Ph.D progam. There is no terminal Masters program.

Brown University and the Department of Political Science prefer that you use the electronic on-line application form. First-time users should create an account; returning users can log-in directly. More application information is available on the Graduate School's website.

The deadline to apply is February 1st. Plan for your materials to arrive at the Graduate School by that date. Please send all supporting materials to the Graduate School. They will forward applications to the department.

GRE and TOEFL

The Brown GRE code is 3094. The Political Science GRE code is 1999. GRE averages from admitted students are not available.
