Graduate Students

Grievance Procedure

Students with complaints or grievances should first consult the DGS, the Chair of the Department, or the relevant faculty member. The Graduate School has adopted a University-wide Grievance Procedure, which should be employed if less formal attempts at resolution fail. Copies of the document in question can be obtained either in the Department office or from the Office of the Dean of the Graduate School. If you wish to discuss your situation with someone outside the Department, the appropriate person is Dean William Heindel at the Graduate School.
