Jared Goldstein, Professor of Law at Roger Williams University, was a leading attorney for the defense of a group of Guantanamo Bay detainees before the Supreme Court. His case, Rasul v. Bush, marked an important precedent granting foreign nationals held at Guantanamo the right to challenge their imprisonment in U.S. court. 

Professor Goldstein will discuss his experiences with the detainees and the Court, the current status of detainees in the U.S. court system, and the implications of Guantanamo's closure.
