Come join the Janus Fellows for a panel conversation on Russia's emergence as a new democracy and a new capitalist economy. Watson Fellow Sergei Khrushchev, Political Science Professor Linda Cook and Slavic Studies Professor Vladimir Golstein will look at the problems facing modern Russia from a historical, political, economic and cultural perspective. The panelists will address the rise of nationalism and ethnic tension, prospects for true democracy in Russia, corruption and the Russian elite and exactly what role America should play in Russia's future. As always, there will be ample time for audience Q&A and free Nice Slice!
