Inequality in the United States
Date:
Tuesday, November 22, 2011 - 12:00pm - 1:00pm
Location:
Brown Faculty Club Join the Janus Fellows for a lunch discussion about inequality in the United States.
What are the dimensions of economic, social, and cultural inequality? How do these forms of inequality interact with each other and should we consider them separate? How are American conceptions of inequality unique? Do we respond to the issue of inequality in adequate ways? Discuss these questions and more with your friends over a complimentary lunch at the Brown Faculty Club.
All are welcome! Please RSVP to janusforum@gmail.com. All those who rsvp will be sent a few short readings to prepare for the discussion.
