Revolution in the Middle East
Date:
Wednesday, March 23, 2011 - 12:00pm - 1:00pm
Location:
Brown Faculty Club How should Egypt move forward in fashioning a new regime? What will the landscape of the Middle East look like going forward? Do the protests in Egypt, Libya, Bahrain, and Iraq recall Iran in 1979 or Eastern Europe in 1989?
Answer these questions and more while enjoying a buffet lunch at the Brown Faculty Club. Huss Banai (Brown Grad Student) will provide opening remarks to get the conversation started.
