How can we understand the governance of the modern university? In the 21st century, who are the various actors and what are their roles? What is the optimal organizational structure of the modern university? Can it be effectively governed? 

Mr. Carey will give a brief introduction and will then lead discussion on Brown in the 21st Century and teh changing models of university governance.
