Greg Weiner (PhD, Political Theory, Georgetown University) specializes in the political thought of the American founding. His interests include American political thought, 18th century political thought, liberalism, majority rule and the political theory of economic distributions. He is currently working on a book manuscript derived from his dissertation, "Madison's Metronome: The Constitution and the Tempo of American Politics," which explores the interplay of time and majority rule in the political thought of James Madison, as well as research on the ideas of accountability and authority in the debates surrounding ratification of the Constitution.
