Andrea Casavant is a recent addition to the center coming to Brown University after five years with Roger Williams University in Bristol, RI. Andrea received her B.S. in Criminal Justice from Roger Williams in 2006, and is looking forward to working with the center and the Brown University community.

As Community Programs Coordinator, Andrea supports the Ethnic Studies faculty in their research, courses and grant projects, and organizes events for Ethnic Studies affiliates and the Brown community at large.

Pat came to Ethnic Studies in the fall of 2004 after spending 12 years in the Education Department serving as Executive Assistant to several Department Chairs.

As Assistant to the Director and Program Manager in the Center for the Study of Race and Ethnicity in America, Pat assists the Director in the administration of all Center activities. Additionally, she provides administrative support for the Ethnic Studies concentration and various research projects.
