The Summer 2009 GIS Institute starts in less than 1 week!
We’ll be meeting at the PSTC (directions) on Monday June, 1st @ 9:30am. We’ll have a light breakfast available starting at 9:15.
Our schedule for the first week of the Institute is quite full, almost all day, every day, will be spent in lectures and discussions with staff from the Library, EarthLab, S4 Faculty, and Fellows.

This is online home of the Spatial Structures in the Social Sciences (S4) GIS Institute. The Intitute is a partnership between S4 and the University Libraries, EARTHLAB, and the Population Studies and Training Center (PSTC). This site contains information about the Institute, instructional materials, and work by S4 Fellows. This site is updated regularly during the GIS institute in January and June of each year. Portions of this site are restricted to the Brown University Community.
