This list of adult education providers has been adapted from the site of the former RI Literacy Resource Center. LVA-RI and the HRIC Workforce Literacy Collaborative have created a searchable database of programs across the state. The database contains more detailed information about programs; The centers appearing on this page are listed below in alphabetical order to provide an at-a-glance listing.

The Swearer Center for Public Service also contains a listing of local literacy agencies, which is part of a larger, searchable database of Providence Community Agencies

Providence Community Resource Network - online, searchable database of social service providers; currently covering the Greater Providence area, but with the goal of going statewide. Learning Opporunities search provides schedules for adult learning programming.

Red de Recursos Comunitarios de Providence - Providence Community Resource Network, Spanish language version

The Youth Opportunities Guide provides after school and summer resources for Providence youth, 10-20.

The Department of Children, Youth and Families provides a list of licensed day care providers in Rhode Island, a potentially useful resource for adults seeking child care options.
