with
an email address (in most cases) and you can send the email message
from
the Web page. Pick an issue -- adult literacy education, welfare
reform,
the proposal that the telephone company charge you each time you access
the Internet -- or some other issue. Send a message to your
Congressperson
about your views on this issue. And -- if you're a teacher with access
to the Web in your program -- try it with students. It's easy and fun.
You may also want to look at your Congressperson's Web page. Post a
message
to the NLA letting us know what you think of this and how it might be
used
in adult education programs.
