Ms. Manning's Wild Claim about the "Tickle" Incident

Ms. Manning's makes several wild claims about the so-called "tickle incident" that resulted in Halsey being quietly reassigned to a high school route. With a barrage of adjectives and accusations, she goes to great lengths to avoid confronting three realities about this incident: (1) the police chief said Halsey could have gotten "ten years" for what he did to the girl in question, (2) the bus company owner made it clear in his testimony that he used the word "tickle" euphemistically, and (3) Halsey was quietly transferred to a route with older children; no parents were notified, and the boys were told that Halsey was "on sabbatical." The critical first two points-the ones Ms. Manning denies-are clearly documented in the record.
Page 1755 of the trial transcript contains these precise quoted words from the chief: "He could do ten years for what he did" to the little girl in question. Ms. Manning claims that these words are a "figment of imagination."

Page 1756 of the trial transcript contains the bus company owner's testimony that he used the word tickled "euphemistically." That is his word, Ms. Manning claims there was no such testimony, "euphemistically or otherwise." But no amount of misrepresenting the record can change the testimony contained on these pages.
