New evidence that Frontline overlooked
At just the time that Fuster was petitioning for a hearing on Ileana’s so-called retraction, Miami television was revisiting the tenth anniversary of Country Walk. No children had recanted. Moreover, an older child from the time who had declined to testify said he would testify against Frank Fuster if he were given a new trial. This boy (named "Dwight Lee" in Hollingsworth’s book) was nine years old at the time and was a frequent playmate of Noel's. He stopped associating with Noel in the early summer of 1984 and never gave an explanation. He was interviewed once in 1984 and had nothing to say.
He came forward in 1994 and said that he would now testify against Frank Fuster.
Frontline did not mention this new potential witness for the prosecution.
