•January 31st: Liz Lerman Keynote Speech & Reception: List Art Center, 64 College Street (Brown Campus) Keynote 5-6:30PM, Reception 6:30-7:30PM
• Friday, February 1 Open Workshop: Interfaith Movement Workshop with Liz Lerman, Brown RISD Hillel, 80 Brown Street (Brown Campus) 5:30-7:30PM (we will end the session so that people may attend).
•Sunday, February 3 613 Radical Acts of Prayer  Ashamu Dance Studio at Brown University 2-3PM and 4-5PM

March 7: Christopher Whitmore, Post-Doc Fellow for the Joukowsky Institute for Archeology and the Ancient World at Brown: Located Media and the Question of Manifestation in Archaeology.

April 11: I Made Bandem, Former Director of the Conservatory Schools of Bali and Jogjakarta, now visiting Prof. at Holy Cross Univ.  (date tentative).

Thomas DeFrantz, dance scholar and choreographer from MIT will be visiting and presenting “Dance Studies and Disciplinarity: Contingencies of Beauty.”

Paula Richman, author of Many Ramayanas and Questioning Ramayanas: The Ramayana in Trinidad; John Emigh “Text and Contexts of The Prahlada Nataka of Orissa.” (optional session for Theatre and Performance Studies Grad Students).

 “Key Text” Session for new students on Ethnography and Performance Studies, led by our postdoc scholar in residence, Meida McNeal. The essay to be discussed are by Dwight Conquergood and Soyini Madison. Other grad students are encouraged to attend; a copy of the readings is in Becker Library of Lyman Hall.
