TA 41 Persuasion and Public Controversy

Many other departments and programs at Brown share an interest in communication
studies. Anthropology, Modern Culture and Media, Linguistics, Philosophy,
and English provide a variety of ways to study language, communication
theory, message production and communication analysis.
Students interested in developing a concentration in Communication should
consider the Communication and Culture track of the Anthropology/Linguistics
concentration, sponsored through the Anthropology Department and advised
by Professors Beeman (Anthropology). Brown students have also developed
Independent Concentrations that focused on rhetorical and communication
studies.
