  • I am the Project Manager of the Neighboring Food Co-op Association--an association of 15 community-owned healthy food retailers in the Northeast. We collaborate with like-minded networks to help develop healthy food systems and cross-sector collaboration among co-operative enterprises, such as credit untions and agricultural producer (farmer) co-ops. We connect nearby growers with communities interested in supporting a healthy agricultural economy.

  • Since graduating from Brown I've obtained a degree in fashion design (F.I.T.,1991) and a law degree (University of California, Davis School of Law, 1997).
  • I worked as a design assistant in 2 fashion houses in London (UK), as well as a buyer for the now-defunct Parisian chain of specialty stores.
  • I've clerked for a federal judge, taught law in Germany, and practiced in both a large international law firm and a smaller, natioal boutique firm, where I was a partner in the New York City office.
  • Since then I left practice moved to California, and had a baby.

  • Since graduating I have gone the science path completing two doctorates, DVM at Tufts and PhD, popular medicine at NC State. I am a wildlife veterinarian working with mountain gorillas. My painting at Brown has evolved into photographying the gorillas and publishing photos of them in multiple books and magazine article. I have been selling prints from time to time.

  • from 1999-2008 was Visual Arts Curator for the Galeria Lorenzo Homar at Taller Puertorriqueno, Inc. in Philadelphia.
  • I've curated over 40 exhibitions of contemporary art, archaeology, ethnographic artifacts, and arts and crafts and will continue to work as an independent curator as part of my cultural work and artistic practice.

  • I am a clinical social worker/and longtime yoga practitioner but am currently practicing probona as an advisor to non-profits. I am actively working on women's rights, reproductive freedom and access as a board director and advisor.
  • My husband and I are active contemporary art collectors and I have a specific focus on female artists who deal with feminist issues.
  • Most of the art making I am doing is with crayons and in collaboration with my 2 artistic offspring.
