Painting

Location: List 510

The Painting Studio is located on the top floor of the List Art Center in Room 510. It is an impressive large space with distinctive skylights. The space is divided into individual working cubicles for painting I, II and honors students. An open critique area is located in the front of the studio where professors and students review work in groups. In addition there are designated areas for a computer and printer, miter and band saws, brush washing, painting storage and approved solvent storage cabinets. Two terraces overlook the city of Providence where students work on projects and take breaks. Alumni often comment on how much they miss the light and space of the Painting Studio.
