The Tockwotton Studio
Established in 2003 by Professor of Visual Art, Richard Fishman, to house The Elm Tree Project (elmtreeproject.net) the Tockwotton Studio has become a place for faculty and students to develop creative work, new courses and projects on a scale not previously available.
Situated in a large, renovated warehouse, a short distance from the main campus, the Tockwotton Studio offers a wood shop, versatile installation spaces, as well as student and faculty studios. Tockwotton is a unique creative community, made up of both faculty and students, working together to develop and refine their own creative visions. It has been, and continues to be, a place conducive to interdisciplinary collaboration both within the Brown community, and within the Brown/ RISD community as a whole.
