Policy on Possession of Student Work
In the matter of unique pieces of work, if a faculty member requests that a piece of student work be given to the department for educational purposes, the student may do so if willing, but it is not required.
In the matter of student work made in an edition (more than one), a faculty member has the right to request and take one example of that work to be held and used by the department for educational purposes. If a faculty member intends to make such a request of any student in his/her class, this intention must be announced at the beginning of the semester in which he/she teaches that class.
