Studios

Sculpture Studio

The sculpture studio is located in the basement of the List Art Center. The studio is available to students enrolled in sculpture courses, or by permission from an instructor.

The studio includes areas for woodworking, metalworking and plaster casting, and a tool room, common work area, critique/gallery space, and presentation room. There are also several individual studios for honors students and for independent studies.

The woodworking area includes basic woodworking machine tools, including a tablesaw, bandsaw, jewelers saw, sliding compound miter saw, router table, drill press, sander, jointer, and planer. The metal working area includes TIG, MIG, and spot welders, plasma cutters, sheet metal break, sheer, and roller, tube/pipe bender, drill press, bandsaw, machinesaw, grinders, anvils, and a kiln. The tool room includes a wide range of power and hand tools, which can be checked out during monitored hours.
