The Project Review Process
The Information Technology Project Review Committee was established to facilitate University priority-setting with regard to IT projects. The Project Proposal document is the principal means by which ITPRC learns of needs for new and improved campus IT services. Project review consists of two phases run serially with ITPRC approval to proceed or not at the conclusion of each:
Project Evaluation Request |
The project is described and the business case made. Resources to explore solutions and possible project funding sources are noted. |
| Project Proposal | The solutions are investigated and a detailed recommendation is prepared including the results of a CIS technology review, estimated budget and schedule, and funding plan. |
Communications regarding a specific request including the submission of a proposal should be directed to the ITPRC (ITPRC@brown.edu).
