The David Winton Bell Gallery collection of nineteenth century prints includes 675 impressions made by European and American masters over the course of the century. Over forty artists and their works are represented in the collection, among them Francisco Goya’s Disasters of War etchings and Honoré Daumier’s sartirical lithographs are notable early and mid-century prints. Works by James McNeill Whistler, Edgar Degas, Édouard Manet and Aubrey Beardsley round out the century and provide a sampling of late-century styles ranging from Impressionism to Art Nouveau.
