Brown University's David Winton Bell Gallery and Department of Visual Art will present the 26th annual Student Exhibition, a display of this year's best student art work, Saturday, March 18 through Sunday, April 2. An opening reception will be held on Saturday, March 18, from 7 to 9 p.m. The annual juried exhibition is open to all Brown students. In past years, the exhibitions have featured works in a wide range of media, from painting, drawing and printmaking, to digital and video-based work and installations. The exhibition offers the Providence community an opportunity to view the work of talented young artists, and it provides students with the valuable experience of showing their work in a professional setting. The jurors are Maureen O'Brien, Curator of Painting and Sculpture, at the RISD Museum, and Ron L. Hutt, Assistant Professor of Art, Department of Art and Art History, University of Rhode Island. The exhibition includes work by Madeleine Bailey, Sophie Barbasch, Amy Boyle, Galen Broderick, Zachary Clark, Andrew Dewitt, Noel Needison Fetting-Smith, Jay Gidwitz, Lauren Gidwitz, Shanay Jhaveri, Lauren Khoo, Julie Kumar, Brian James Lee, Nicholas Monu, Laini Nemett, Rafeal Man Hin Ng, Sean P. Tiner, Rebecca Sauer, Janelle Sing, David Watson Sobel, Elizabeth Stamp, Robin Steele, Hana van der Steur, John Szymunski, and Komal Talati.
