Energy and Environment

The Energy and Environmental office is committed to achieving sustained energy and environmental performance. This requires an ongoing, integrated and systematic approach to energy management including assessing performance, setting goals, creating an action plan and tracking and communicating results. Facilities Management has completed the assessment phase and is in the process of setting energy and environmental goals while creating the necessary processes, management systems and communication tools to achieve these goals.  

Although we have implemented many energy efficiency improvements on campus, we believe there is more that can be done. We have formed the Energy and Environmental Advisory Committee consisting of faculty, staff and students that will help us set these performance goals along with target completion date. As we set these goals and progress towards achieving these goals, we will continuously update this website with new information on our current energy and environmental footprint as well as achievements.
