Systems & Services Office
The Systems & Services office, within Facilities Management, services and maintains the computing technology infrastructure essential for the applications utilized by facilities' staff. Our primary focus is to ensure that all systems and services are secure, accessible and available to staff. System & Services include: application and database servers; file and printing services; desktop and peripheral support; backup and recovery; communications support; and IT services consultation for new initiatives. In addition, we work in conjunction with the central Computing and Information Services (CIS) department to ensure new technology initiatives are aligned with the Brown University IT Strategic Plan.
