Seeing Ourselves, Showing Ourselves: Brown's Culture on Display
An exhibition of archived documents, archaeological artifacts, and expressions of student identity. Using objects, artifacts and documents that represent different aspects of Brown's culture, we explore the ways that our own past is preserved, remembered, and performed today, and we begin to understand the varied ways other cultures are defined and displayed by the conventions of the anthropology museum. Curated by students of the Public Humanities program. This exhibit was at the Haffenreffer Museum from May to September 2011.
