As a Friend of the Haffenreffer Museum of Anthropology you support the museum's activities at every level. Your membership helps to sponsor public programs, purchase special gifts for the museum, and provide matching funds for challenge grants made by state and federal granting agencies. In becoming a Friend of the Haffenreffer Museum of Anthropology, you help us to fulfill the Haffenreffer's mission.
Membership Benefits
All Friends of the Haffenreffer Museum of Anthropology receive FREE admission to the Haffenreffer Museum's two locations in Bristol, RI, and on the Brown University campus in Providence, RI.
General Members also receive subscriptions to Contexts, our newsletter, and our biannual Calendar of Events; advance announcements of exhibition openings, films, lectures, tours and other events; free use of the Museum's library by appointment; and a 10% discount on all purchases from the Museum Shop. Members also receive FREE or reduced admission rates to more than 200 ASTC partner museums and science centers in the U.S., Canada, and abroad (see below for more details).
Donors' Circle Members receive all the benefits of general membership plus additional benefits including free Haffenreffer Museum publications, guest passes, and invitations to VIP events

GENERAL MEMBERSHIPS
Brown/RISD ($5)
General membership benefits for Brown and RISD students, with photocopy of valid ID.
Student ($15)
General membership benefits for students with photocopies of valid ID from any university or college other than Brown or RISD.
Individual ($25)
General membership benefits for the member.
Dual/Couple ($30)
General membership benefits for two named members.
Family ($35)
General membership benefits for two adults and all of their children or grandchildren under the age of 18. Family members are also eligible for discounts on Haffenreffer summer camps and some family educational events.

Contributing ($50-99)
Individual membership benefits plus 5 one-time guest passes.
Saville Society ($100-$249)
Family membership benefits plus 5 one-time guest passes and one free Haffenreffer Museum publication.*
Giddings Society ($250-$499)
Family membership benefits, 10 one-time guest passes, one free Haffenreffer Museum publication, and invitations to special VIP events.*
Mount Hope Society ($500-$999)
Family membership benefits, 15 one-time guest passes, invitations to special VIP events, and one free Haffenreffer Museum publication.*
Haffenreffer Society ($1000+)
Family membership benefits, 20 one-time guest passes, invitations to special VIP events, and two free Haffenreffer Museum publications.*
* Members of the Donors' Circle, above the Contributing level, are eligible to receive free publications each time they renew. You will receive a list of available publications upon receipt of your paid application for membership or renewal. You may elect, at your choice, to receive the publications or to have them sent, as gifts, to the person or institution of your choice.
