Portuguese flight

As soon as the Portuguese royal court arrived in Rio in 1808, they established a publishing entity, the Impressão Régia, the first printing house in Brazil. Not surprisingly, almost the very first work off of this royal press was this account of the French invasion of Portugal and the necessity for flight to save the crown.
