This exhibition, "Building a Brasiliana: A Lusophone Lens on the JCB's American Collection," displayed on the occasion of the 13th meeting of the Brazilian Studies Association, takes some of the Library’s traditional bibliographical strengths—in European Americana, travel literature, and comparative histories of colonialism—and assesses the collection through a Portuguese prism. |
