Students of the French empire in America and of the Haitian Revolution may find this list helpful in planning a research visit to the John Carter Brown Library. More than 500 titles are cited here.
The list is presented below three times in three different formats: Chronological, Alphabetical by Author, Alphabetical by Title. The user can simply jump to whichever of these forms of organization is most convenient and scroll down. The Library’s call number is included at the end of each entry.
The cataloguing data presented here is considerably
abbreviated.

the RLIN database or in the JCB’s cataloguing records included in
Brown University’s online catalogue, “Josiah.”
