The Library is closed (as is the entire Brown University campus) from 5 p.m. on December 22, 2011. The Library will re-open on January 2, 2012, but the Reading Room is closed to researchers until January 9, 2012.

May 28 (Monday) — Memorial Day

July 4 (Wednesday)  — Closed

August 13 (Monday) — Victory Day (official RI holiday)

September 1 (Saturday) –Closed for Labor Day
September 3 (Monday) — Labor Day

October 8 (Monday) — Fall Weekend

November 22 (Thursday) — Thanksgiving Day November 23 (Friday) — Thanksgiving Holiday
November 24 (Saturday) — Closed

Please note that on the first Wednesday of each month, the Library usually holds a staff meeting and does not open until after 10 a.m.
