Susannah is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, and the Brown/Trinity Consortium (MFA – Acting), where she played Emily in Trinity Repertory Company’s production of Our Town (MOTIF Magazine Theatre Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress). Also while at the Consortium, Susannah appeared in Medea (The Nurse), Othello (Bianca), The Imaginary Invalid (Louison), as well as three world premieres: Hiroshima 2005: The Apology Module and Don’t Stop, by Brown playwriting graduate Molly Rice, and The Calamity of Kat Kat & Willie, by classmate Emily Young.

Her regional work includes Sister James in Doubt (Hangar Theatre); Juliet in Romeo & Juliet and Bianca in The Taming of the Shrew (Shakespeare in Santa Fe); Varya in The Cherry Orchard, Viola in Twelfth Night, Isabella in Measure for Measure, and Lydia in All My Sons (Chautauqua Theatre Company). A Brooklyn resident, she returned to Trinity Rep this season to star alongside Anne Scurria in Curt Columbus’s production of Memory House, by Kathleen Tolan. Susannah recently participated in a workshop of Rebecca Gilman's adaptation of The Heart is a Lonely Hunter, directed by Doug Hughes, at the New York Theatre Workshop. She has been nominated for a 2007 IRNE Award for Best Actress, Large Theater, for her performance in Our Town.
