JUDE SANDY (Trinidad and Tobago) studied dance and theatre at Brown University with Julie Strandberg and Lowry Marshall, graduating in 2005 with an A.B. in Africana Studies. He was a founding member of Dancing Legacy, the teaching and performing ensemble of American Dance Legacy Initiative, and has performed with Yin Mei Dance and Riedel Dance Theater in New Y ork City .
Jude is a 2009 graduate of the Brown/Trinity Rep MFA Acting Program and a 2008 alumnus of A Guthrie Experience for Actors in Training at the Guthrie Theater. MFA roles include: Belize in Angels In America: Perestroika; Orestes in Elektra; Greer in Inked Baby; and Laertes in Hamlet. New York and regional credits include: A Raisin In The Sun, A Christmas Carol and Paris By Night (Trinity Rep); Caviar on Credit (Guthrie); King John (Guerrilla Shakespeare Project).
Jude is an original company member of Lincoln Center Theater/National Theater of Great Britain’s production of War Horse, appearing in the puppeteering roles of Joey, Topthorn and Goose.
