Miriam graduated from Brown with a BA in East Asian Studies and stayed on to complete her MFA in Acting in May ‘05 as part of the inaugural class of the Brown/Trinity Consortium.

Trinity Rep credits include Suddenly Last Summer (Catherine), The Seagull (Nina), The Henriad (Poins, Douglas, MacMorris, Alice), The Buz’Gem Blues (Summer), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Titania), The Two Gentlemen of Verona (Julia), Songs of Innocence, Songs of Experience, Annie, and Peter Pan.

Brown New Play Festival credits include Willa in The Aerodynamics of Accident by Deborah Stein and Midge in Shapeshifter by Laura Schellhardt. Other Consortium credits include Electra in Iphigenia and Other Daughters, Autolycus in The Winter’s Tale (both directed by Laura Kepley) the Countess in The Moliere Project (Chris Bayes, dir.) and Jocasta in The Infernal Machine (Michael Goldfried, dir.)

In New York Miriam has appeared as Kat Kat in the premiere of Consortium grad Emily Young’s The Calamity of Kat Kat and Willie, directed by Consortium grad Heath Cullens and included in Nytheatre.com’s Best of New York Theatre 2006, and the premiere of Bone Portraits by Brown MFA Playwright Deborah Stein at Soho Rep.

Regional Credits include Hennie in Arena Stage’s production of Awake and Sing! under the direction of Arena Stage’s founder Zelda Fichandler, Celia in As You Like It at the Folger Theatre, Anna in Syncopation at Triad Stage, and Judith in The Fourth Wise Man at Studio Arena Theater.

Miriam recently played Solveig in Peer Gynt at the Guthrie Theater in a new adaptation by poet Robert Bly, directed by Tim Carroll and starring Mark Rylance. Last summer she appeared in The Public Theater/NYSF's production of Hamlet, directed by Oskar Eustis.
