Alex Torra currently serves as the Associate Artistic Director for Pig Iron Theatre Company, where, in May 2008, he will be directing ¡SUPERPARTY 15 YEAH!. Further directing credits include The Blessing of the Animals (Abingdon Theater); Power of Sail (Brown/Trinity Playwrights Rep); Anaerobic Respiration (The Shifting Company) at the 2005 NY International Fringe Festival; Romeo and Juliet, Gingerbreadhouse, Richard III, Cloud Tectonics, Glengarry Glen Ross, Blind Woman of Veracruz (Brown/Trinity Consortium). Awards: 2007 Princess Grace Award (Grace LeVine Theater Award), 2007 Oregon Shakespeare Festival F.A.I.R. Directing Fellowship, 2006 Drama League Fall Directing Fellowship. Alex received his M.F.A. in Directing from the Brown/Trinity Rep Consortium.
