Venue Information

The Catherine Bryan Dill Center for the Performing Arts is comprised of three main performance spaces located in two separate buildings - Lyman Hall and Faunce House. Situated on the northern side of the main campus, the courtyard to these buildings is easily accessed from Waterman Street between Brown and Thayer streets. The courtyard and each performance venue are marked with carved stone marquees like the one pictured here to the left.

Free Parking is available on the street and in campus lots after business hours on weekdays and on weekends. Please see the campus parking map.

Waterman Street Courtyard Entrance

Lincoln Green Entrance

Leeds Theatre is located in Lyman Hall. Its lobby is in the covered breezeway between Lyman and Soloman Halls which has two entrances. One doorway opens onto Lincoln Field across from the statue. The other entrance opens onto the Dill Center courtyard and is visible from Waterman Street between Stuart theatre and Hunter Psychology Lab. The courtyard entrance is wheelchair accessible.

The Brown Theatre Box Office located in the lobby opens one hour before Leeds Theatre performances for walk-up sales only.

(Faunce House)

Main Green Entrance

Stuart Theatre is located directly above the campus post office in Faunce House. Its lobby has two entrances adjacent to the Faunce Arch. One entrance is on Waterman Street where Brown Street intersects. The other entrance faces the Brown Bear Statue on the main green. An accessible entrance is to the right of this door. Please refer to the map linked below.

(Lyman Hall)

Entrance on Lincoln Green

Ashamu Dance Studio is attached to the East end of Lyman Hall just down the hill from Leeds Theatre. The studio has an accessible entrance that faces Lincoln Field with a walkway that wraps around the building, traveling behind it and along the campus greenhouse to connect with Waterman Street.

Strasberg Studio
(Faunce House via the Leeds Theatre Courtyard)

Strasberg Studio is located directly below the campus post office and Stuart Theatre in the basement level of Faunce House. The Studio is accessed via the Leeds Theatre courtyard. The stairs are located to your right as you face the Leeds Theatre entrance.

Strasberg Studio seats 50 and is not wheelchair accessible. Though not a public venue, Strasberg Studio is home to many student performances and SoloFest held annually during commencement weekend.
