MISSION STATEMENT
The purpose of this manual is to record all policy decisions and procedures that pertain to bibliographic and authority control, and make them readily available to staff who perform cataloging work, as well as the library staff generally. The manual is intended to contribute to in-service training of every cataloging staff member, and to increase communication within the department, and between library departments.
