In support of the mission of the Brown University Library, the cataloging services units of Brown University provide timely intellectual access to information resources, whether held in the library or accessed remotely.

To accomplish this mission we:

• Support the information needs of our users by building and maintaining the local on-line catalog
• Continually improve the quality and ease of access to our collections
• Contribute our records to national and international databases
• Explore innovative ways to organize information resources through our participation in cooperative projects
