The Collection

The Harris Collection includes nearly 5,000 American hymnals, both with and without notation, dating from the 17th to the twentieth centuries. The publications of most American denominations are included, in many different editions and languages. Important sections include Pennsylvania German imprints as well as an interesting selection of hymnals issued in the 20th century by small fundamentalist denominations in theWest, South, and Midwest.
