LibQUAL+™ Survey, Spring 2005
In April 2005, the Library surveyed all Brown faculty and students using the LibQUAL+™ web-based survey
instrument. LibQUAL+™ is a tool for measuring library users' perceptions of service
quality that identifies gaps between minimum and desired expectations of service and perceived levels of
service. A total of 234 institutions, including some of the largest research libraries in North
America, participated in the spring 2005 LibQUAL+™ survey.
The Library sent out 9,280 email invitations to Brown faculty and students and received 1,983 responses (for an overall response rate of 21.4%).
