The Third & Elm Press at FortySaturday, April 22, 2006, 5:00-7:00pm John Hay Library The Friends of the Library will host a program at the opening of the exhibition, "The Third & Elm Press at Forty", on Saturday, April 22. The Third & Elm Press is a leading fine press located in Newport, Rhode Island. A decade ago, its archives were donated to the John Hay Library. Now, ten years later, an exhibition of more recent work will be on display. The program will feature several speakers sharing reminiscences about the press and its influence, and honoring press proprietor, Ilse Buchert Nesbitt. The exhibition will be on display from April 22 through May 19, 2006. |
