Help us make the library of tomorrow! The Brown Library, comprised of 6 facilities across campus, is one of the largest research libraries in New England. Among the Library’s more than 3.5 million volumes are special collections of extraordinary diversity. These include one of the world’s largest collections on military iconography, a rich collection on the life and political career of Abraham Lincoln, and one of the most comprehensive collections of American poetry and plays.

Your contribution will help us build digital avenues to knowledge, transform our physical spaces, and preserve our paper-based collections. In the information age, the library is not simply a cathedral to books. It is a vital institution, spurred by new technologies and forms of media, to provide greater access to information and participate in the creation of new scholarship. In addition, the Library remains a central gathering place for students on campus. Help us continue to grow in response to the challenges presented by Brown’s dynamic curriculum.
