This site is based on the work of Nancy Holloway, SLAS, Broadsides, John Hay Library,
for an exhibition mounted in the Library. Digitized images of selected carriers'
addresses have been used to illustrate the citations and Ms. Holloway's text.
The interested reader is encouraged to explore the holdings of carriers
addresses at the John Hay Library, and further to examine a work compiled
in great part by the retired curator of the Broadsides Collection, Mary T. Russo.
