Thomas Nast Civil War Scrapbook. 1861 - 1866 One of Charles W. McLellan's most prized possessions was Nast's scrapbook of his work during the Civil War years.  It contains 234 pencil sketches, 32 wash drawings, 10 proofs of wood engravings made from his drawings, and a reference collection of 638 photographs.
