The Brown University Library has received many wonderful
gifts to expand its collection in recent months. While it is not possible
to list every gift here, we have selected a small sampling of gifts

Many gifts were made to the Scott Chanchien Memorial Library Fund. Established
in 2002 by members of the Class of 1992 in memory of Scott Chanchien
'92, the fund supports expansion of the Library's information resources

The Irene Heneghan Stamp Collection including 93 mounted stamp albums
and several hundred early 20th century U.S. postcards with cancelled

reminiscences of Nikita Khrushchev, correspondence, clippings and other
materials.
Gift of Sergei Khrushchev, Senior Fellow, Watson Institute for International
Studies
361 volumes, primarily on World War II and the English Monarchy
Gift of D. Edward Nichols
Approximately 900 volumes in the field of American history
Gift of James Patterson, Professor Emeritus, Department of History
Approximately 15 items relating to donorís military and prisoner of
war experiences in World War II.
Gift of John Pryke
The Pembroke Club of Providence made a gift in memory of Henry Weatherhead,
í50, brother of Susan Weatherhead, Pembroke í42, for the Pembroke Club
Book Fund.
