The final product consists of 2 parts:
- A short summary of the sessions or lectures that you attended
- A written description of how attending this lecture or fits the program of study or educational goals and describe progress on one or more of those goals. This is similar to the application, which states the intended goals, but includes an "outcome" section so that students are encouraged to make tangible progress toward their goals (networking, written products, active engagement in current environment) in addition to simply "attaining knowledge". Goal outcomes may include but are NOT limited to:
- Review paper or literature review on the topic of interest
- Oral presentation on the topic of interest
- Collaboration on the speaker's project
- Development of similar research or clinical protocol at Brown (use of or procurement of speaker's intervention, questionnaire, or outcome measure).
- Facilitate a talk at Brown by the speaker at Brown.
- Interview speaker, and write up interview.
