Graduate positions

The Burwell lab is currently recruiting graduate students through the Psychology Graduate Program who are interested in conducting electrophysiological experiments in behaving animals to examine the roles of the perirhinal and postrhinal cortices in episodic memory. Experiments typically involve construction of electrodes and diagnostic devices, training rats at a specific task, testing their attention and memory, and conducting electrophysiological, behavioral, and histological examinations. Undergraduate positions

The Burwell lab is currently recruiting Brown undergraduate students with programming expertise in Matlab who are interested in providing programming support for our research program using. We need to be able to design a variety of programs to train and test the rats in specific attention and memory-related tasks. Interested students should contact Dr. Burwell.
