Equipment Calendars
Brown users can access the calendars through Outlook, OWA, Entourage or the Calendars link. If you are not from the Brown Community, please contact Christoph Schorl to reserve time on the equipment.

DIRECTIONS FOR SIGN UP
* Select a calendar and click on "NEW"
* Under "SUBJECT" enter name, ext., your email address, and PIs name.
* Select a "START" and "END" time.
* Click on "SAVE AND CLOSE".
DIRECTIONS TO CANCEL
* Follow sign up directions but under "SUBJECT" include the word "CANCEL".
* If you cancel on the day that you are signed up, please contact the person signed up before/after you.

Applied Biosystems 7500 USERS: NEW RULES EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY
1. The maximum sign up time per user is 4 hrs/ experiment on 2 consecutive days. Exception: nights/weekends 2. If you need to cancel your experiment, please notify the person(s) signed up before and after you. 3. Do not use marker pens of any kind to label to label your plates due to possible interference of ink particles with the CCD camera which had to be replaced. 4. Please wear GLOVES when handling plates5. Dispose off you plates according to EHS approved protocol and please don’t leave your plates on the machine.
